Camino Krk Route

The island of Krk was chosen as the first section of the Croatian Camino route, which is officially marked with yellow arrows (adapted to Croatian traditional symbols). An official Croatian credential (pilgrim passport) with Camino stamps reflecting the local cultural heritage is available to all pilgrims who wish to discover this new addition to the European network of Camino routes.

The Camino Krk route is about 150 km long, with the recommended itinerary listed below. Spectacular natural scenery, forests, hills with wonderful views, old castles and churches, abandoned villages, small medieval towns and beautiful beaches are just a part of what this route offers. Each day offers a unique opportunity to find inner peace, reflect and discover a special kind of “Camino experience”.

For all lovers of active vacations, the “Tiha” camp offers the possibility of accommodation and transportation every day to the beginning and end of the route.
